Bertrand MunierProfessor and Head of the Economics and Management Department at the Ecole normale supérieure de Paris-Saclay during 15 years, Bertrand Munier has also been invited professor in various business and engineering schools and universities in France (ESSEC), in Europe (University of Cologne, RFA) and in the U.S. (U. of Washington, U. of California, N.Y.U).

An Oskar Morgenstern’s former student at Princeton University, Post-Doc at Yale and an enthusiastic young colleague of Maurice Allais, Nobel Prize Laureate 1988, he is the author of some 150 articles in academic journals - in several languages - of some fifteen books and nearly hundred talks in the five continents.

He has always been closely affiliated to business practice in companies within the nuclear energy industry, the food processing industry, various financial businesses, the air- and rail-transport industries, as well as civil engineering, environment and telecommunications.

The specialized Master in Global Risk Management which he had accredited by the French Grandes Ecoles Committee in 2000 has been and remains today rated as the best French curriculum in the field. His various contributions to Education and applied Research have been acknowledged by several international scientific prizes. Bertrand Munier is today chairing the Scientific Committee of the Maurice Allais Foundation.

He has been first in Europe to innovate with a software in individual risk profiling (from E.R.A. in 2000, to NERP™7.5.), and produced other softwares in multicriteria decision aid under risk (SERUM, 2001, etc.). In 2015, Bertrand founded Riskinnov Ltd., run with a team of young and brilliant officers / advisors.
